I’ve been doing a lot more drawing lately, in particular some spec posters for a pitch to Comics Invasion Berlin. Here’s a couple samples of doing the final inking!
Every so often it’s nice to draw robots! This one is a mix of Robbie and B9 from Lost in Space, with extra wiggly bits. I would have liked to record drawing the pencils, but then I gotta set up a camera and hold the sketchbook at a hero angle, and no one has time for that.
And I just realized I probably could have used Pshop’s A.I to fill in the backgrounds instead of doing it by had like a dork. Fun regardless. Used a Wacom Cintiq and True Grit Texture supply brushes/color palette.
