In-game creatives for hypercasual games companies such as StarBerry Games and Popcore. The main challenge is to repurpose the existing game engine to tell a story that links to the world, and do it in a way that highlights the “hook” of the game itself.
One of these series I got to do an actual story– bringing the characters into the world and transforming it into a “giant monster movie” scenario. This one was a blast– I love the visual language of retro movies and newsreels, and of course everyone likes giant sized Tesla coils.

I’ve done lots of variations of “This game is so addictive” and “I can’t stop playing” scenarios, but I got to be creative with a pitch to drive around San Francisco (streets were empty because of the coronavirus) and do on-location shooting for an “I see this game everywhare” spot.
