Gun Samurai Cat versus Ninja goldfish! This is a “vending machine” print of my “Cat Wick” drawing with @tomsingier
at @czentrifuga! I wanted to do something fun, super illustrative, with a thick-brush style. Doing the color separations for the screenprint is great since it really forces me to think about color composition and focus on the line art itself.

Don’t ask me what “a bird in the fish is worth two in the hand” means it’s just basic brain rot

I always like showing the drawing and screenprinting timelapse if I can, I did the printing with @tomsingier at @czentrifuga! This and other killer artists were on display at @interkosmos.berlin on 16/11/2024.

I went thru a couple iterations of the cat face, after the first pass I decided I wanted this to have a goofier vibe. I thought it would be fun to have a dual-gun wielding cat sticking its little tongue out, it’s always hilarious when they do this in the wild.
