TrumpBot is an interactive video installation featuring a cartoon avatar of the President-elect Donald Trump. Running in a standard web browser, this generative art project searches for all tweets at @saysrealtrump (https://twitter.com/saysrealtrump) and animates them using a lip-synching “talking head”.
Any audience member can tweet to “#trumpsays” and put their own words in the mouth of a public figure that is notorious for delivering inflammatory and outrageous statements. No matter the political affiliation or personal beliefs of the sender, their tweets will be read without irony and without judgement.
