Culturally Biased Data Sets

This multi channel video installation takes the form of monitors running
the “Culturally Biased Data Sets” program, a Flash application that consists
of an animation of a walking stick figure, a graph that displays information
as movement rather than information as pie charts.

Parameters:
1) Head size: Literacy rate
2) Body size: Population
3) Length of arm movement: Percentage of population incarcerated
4) Height of stride: total gold medals in all world Olympics
5) Length of stride: gross domestic product

It's currently installed at Phantom Galleries in Long Beach, California.
